The client’s 1920’s home had been stripped of its original woodwork and trim during previous renovation. The house was restored to its former glory with a new veranda and new exterior and interior trim. The remaining original fascia and gable trim was restored.
Situated on a large estate lot in west Ottawa, our client had a vision of a modern open plan with an exterior heritage feel. The home has a feeling of solid quality with arched windows, stone detailing, stained glass window accents and solid quality wood work. Large windows provide views to a private , beautiful backyard.
